👋 About Me
Halo, this is Henryk Chan (Haolin Chen), a passionate researcher and medical engineering innovator committed to advancing healthcare through cutting-edge biomedical technologies. With a solid academic foundation—holding an accredited engineering degree and currently pursuing a master’s program, both recognized by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)—my work bridges engineering excellence and clinical impact.
My research centers on wearable electrochemical biosensors, wound-monitoring biosensors, and ECG systems leveraging liquid metal technology. I have authored several peer-reviewed articles published in top-tier SCI Q1 journals with total . Additionally, and hold a certified patent for an innovative device, underscoring my drive to transform research into practical, real-world solutions.
In addition to my academic and research pursuits, I engage in interdisciplinary innovation as a member of the Advanced Hackspace team, where I contribute to the development of creative engineering tools and prototypes. I also volunteer as a Responder at Hammersmith Hospital (Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust), supporting frontline staff and contributing to patient-centered care.
